 | Nam Mang 3 dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant was completed and started operation in 2004. The power plant has an installed capacity of 40 MW. In 2016, the Dam Owner EDLGen has selected the use of Fusegates® in order to increase the storage capacity of the dam by 8.7m³ (+18%), thus increase the rate of power generation. The geometry of the Fusegates were adapted to the ogee spillway as it was not possible to make modifications for the Fusegates’ retrofitting.
