Saint-Herbot Dam is equipped with moderate-head fusegates linked to a concrete labyrinth parapet wall, increasing the dam’s discharge capacity while making it possible to preserve the same reservoir level, essential to maintaining productivity.
This pilot project underwent tests using full-scale models of water-release systems at the Saint Michel Dam.
