Metal fusegates were installed on the Creager spillway, which had been lowered by 20 cm. Just one month after their installation, the fusegates discharged for the first time.
Implementing the system in record time made it possible to increase the useful volume of the reservoir by 0.62 hm³ and spillway capacity by 8% with no change to the maximum reservoir level.
