Fusegates first installation in Mauritius is successfully completed at Sans Souci Dam.

The project consists of the Design, Supply, Construction and Commissioning of Labyrinth type Fusegates® at the Sans Souci Dam located to the South-East of Flacq District in Mauritius.

It includes the design, supply, construction, testing and commissioning of 14 labyrinth type Fusegates® of 3.00 m height on the 80 m wide spillway and will increase the storage capacity of the reservoir by approximately 31%.

This higher reservoir capacity shall consequently increase the energy generation from the Champagne power station by approximately 3 GWh.
